Fake or real? That has been the question in our house for the past few years. Growing up, we always had a real Christmas tree and I loved it. In the beginning of our marriage, we had a real tree and I loved it. Then, somehow, Kyle talked me into a fake tree and I never really loved it. So, we made a deal - once we had kids, we could go back to getting a real tree. Baby is scheduled to arrive in mid-December, so I am very excited that this is the year we are making the switch back to real! Plus, we were able to sell our fake one and make room for more baby stuff.
The tree above is from my parent's house. My mom puts up about 8,763 trees each Christmas and I love it.
Ok, let's get the record straight. I only put up 9 trees but am aiming for one in every room (16). Although, this year we won't put up a single tree as we are headed to Alexandria to celebrate with our granddaughter, daughters & sons in law.
ReplyDeleteNot sure where Kyle came up with wanting a fake tree...we've NEVER had one and always made it a fun family outing to cut down our tree. At least, we always THOUGHT it was fun. Kyle? Weren't you having fun? Ha!
