Dear Anna -
I cannot believe you are one month already. I cannot believe you have been at home with us and a have been a part of our family now for one month. In some ways it feels like you have always been here and at other times I feel like you just joined us yesterday.
Your numbers at one month:
22 inches
9 lbs 2.5 ozs
You are sleeping better at night and even slept for six hours last night! Although I am not counting on getting six consecutive hours of sleep every night. You slept the first week in our room, but have slept in your room, in your crib ever since. You are up most of the day and love to eat. Sometimes I am not sure if you are happy to see me or just excited to eat.
You have been out and about a lot. We have been on lots of walks and have gone to Target, out to lunch, downtown D.C., to Aunt Erin and Uncle Sean's house, and the mall (you love H&M).
You can lift your head, but cannot quite hold it up. You can now follow things with your eyes. I have not seen a real smile yet, but I cannot wait until I do. We introduced you to the pacifier this week and I cannot decide yet if you like it. We caught you sucking your thumb once.
Riley loves you. She likes to be by your side and she cries when you cry. Firpo is still on the fence. He is interested in you. Sometimes he lies right next you and steals your warmth, sometimes he swats at you. He will come around.
You have been visited by Nana and Grandpa Wrona, Gram and Gramps Rossiter, and Aunt Erin and Uncle Sean, and they all love you very much. As do your Dad and I.
Love,
Mom
Awww...brought tears to my eyes. Miss her so much.
ReplyDeleteOH, and your Uncle Sean wins for being the best (outside of your Mom & Dad) at soothing you. At least when I've been around.
ReplyDeleteI think Uncle Sean is better than Mom and Dad.
ReplyDeleteHow fun this will be for Anna to see someday down the road. She is so precious and loved by so many.
