Anna talks a lot and knows a lot of words. She has even managed to learn how to get her way using only a few words. Our conversations go mostly like this:
Anna: Nack! Nack!
Me/Kyle: Do you want a snack?
Anna: OK.
Anna: OUTsiiide. OUTsiiide. OUTsiiide.
Me/Kyle: Do you want to go outside?
Anna: OK.
I love how she turns it around and makes it seem like going outside was actually our idea. We should probably just stop asking but sometimes we have trouble figuring out what she's saying and her "OK" is the only indication we go it right. Sometimes she just skips that step though.
Anna: OUTsiiide, pleeeeze, OK.
Me/Kyle:
i still can't get over how well she pronounces adelaide!
ReplyDeletei would keep asking her questions- that's how she'll learn to string words together, and eventually, sentences! woah.
